BLOGGING POST- Lets All Help Each Other

By
Real Estate Agent with Signature Realty Group, LLC.

I have been reading most blogs for the past few weeks. WHY are so many people complaining about the economy? We as a united front of agents know the market is BAD. We don't need to be reminded by our peers that it's the pits. I know I shouldn't be commenting on such an issue being new but, I actually use my down time for marketing myself. If you think it's tough for you as an established agent, think of us green-horns.

I would give anything to close my first deal. I have a few in the works that are so close but again it's the economy scaring people. I look at it as a learning curve. If I were to have come in as the market is booming, I wouldn't know what struggling is. Refer to the old phrase "You Gotta crawl before you walk".  My instructor from class always told us that we are getting in the real estate world at the right time. I believe her. I think this is a bubble that is slowly going to grow and grow until it burst, then we will all prosper.

Thanks to all of you who have listened to rant............Let's all get up and start our next potential CONTRACT...........

People do need to rant but I agree that we need to be positive even in slower times....the trouble in my area is that even though we are still in positive appreciation, consumer confidence is down because of national news....

Scott,

I totally agree with you.  I know it is bad, but there is a part of me that believe it will suddenly not be nearly 'AS BAD" when the elections are over.  Welcome aboard and i am sure you will be doing great.

Good observations.  I'm with you.  I think a lot of this doom and gloom stuff on an individual level will trun into self-fulfilling prophesies.

This is an opportunity for you to learn the basics of the business. When the market turns and it will, you will be ready. Good Luck!

Hang in there, Scott.  Sometimes things simmer awhile and before you know it everything will be boiling and you'll reap the rewards from all your hard work.  This business can be like a roller coaster.

We all need to rant from time to time; and some of us, more often than others; :) ... however, I think we should rant in private (member's only posts); so that we don't worry the consumers even more.

And while we are ranting about the market, we can still look at the bright side of a 'not so great' market.  It is always good for someone, and in this case, it's a great buyer's markeet ... so let's tell everyone out there looking to buy ... :)
