Who would you call if your identity was breached?

It would be nice if we could stop identity theft.  Unfortunately it would like stopping automobile accidents, thieves breaking in homes or stopping sickness & disease.  The only reason we pay our insurance premiums is to reduce our out of pocket expense just in case these things happen. That's why I.D. Theft coverage is becoming the most requested benefit in of employees in the workplace.  They want to know who they can call on if their identity is breached.  After all they know who to call with their other insurances.  Who would you call if your identity was breached?

Identity Theft Coverage will soon become as common as automobile insurance, life insurance, health insurance and home owners insurance.  Think of a reason why it wouldn't .

Identity theft is a growing problem.  Luckily I haven't had it yet; but getting thru theft of my credit cards and checkbook in California, it makes me appreciate what a nightmare any type of theft can be!

Ann,  thanks for your response.  ID theft is a big deal.  Glad you are concerned about it.  My business is helping people prevent id theft, monitor their identity and restore their identity if it is breached.

Thanks again,

Ced

Ced, great topic! It definitely is a growing problem. I see that some insurance carriers have added that benefit to homeowner's policies.

Tanya,  you're right about the insurance companies.  Just hope they cover all five areas of identity theft and help to restore their clients identity when it is breached.  Most plans only offer monitoring and send the client a kit to help them recover their own identity.  The reality is that you really need 600 man hours and most of us can't afford to take that much time off work.
