During the session, Freddie Baird (EVP and COO) and I discussed results from QuantumDigital's survey that was conducted in August. We received excellent feedback from over 10,000 real estate professionals as a result of the survey, including the top three themes:
1. Direct mail, newsprint, email and online marketing are the de facto marketing channels for real estate professionals.
2. On average, agents/brokers typically spend 10% of their gross commissionable income (GCI) a year on marketing - 4% on direct mail, 6% on online/web/email.
3. Sphere of Influence is still the #1 way to get new business.
We've had several inquiries asking if we're going to have a follow-up webinar discussing additional "pointers" from the survey. The good news is that we have plans for future webinars on the topic.
