We love going through the homes on our annual Parade of Homes & Remodeling Tour in Missoula sponsored by the Missoula Building Industry Association. This was the event's 19th year in Missoula and featured 9 homes in a wide variety of styles.
We had 2 favorite homes on the tour with drastically different styles. One was The River Pines - a 6,300 square foot home in an elegant Montana Style Design.
This home featured a large stone fireplace, a large kitchen and master suite - which even had a security system on the wall that allows you to see your front door and different areas around the home on camera, and a full finished basement with a large wet bar, comfortable theater room, and card table area.
Our Second Favorite Home was totally different in style - it was a very simple but very comfortable cottage-style home called the Elderberry Cottage. It was smaller at 2,364 sq ft. but had an elegant country-cottage feel.
The tour takes place in September each year. You can learn more about the Parade of Homes on MBIA's website www.BuildMissoula.com.
