What? Is texted really a word? It is so annoying when people say, " Oh, I just texted it to you."  What is that? Can't text be used in the past tense without the "ed"? It sounds like a 5 year old speaking. For example, a child might say: " I goed with my mom to the store."

Basic principal of past tense. Just add the "ed". Well, in the case of text I am saying this is unnecessary. Not only does it sound stupid; it's just plain annoying. I guess I'll have to wait until Webster makes their determination of the correct past tense of the new verb text. I'll start the letter writing campaign. Ed, are you with me?

Kisti - People can't even say this without sounding like they are suffering a bad case of the "stutters"!

"I just sent it to you in a text."

Is that better!!!

Have an awesome day!
