Green Bay Packers - It's Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood Now!

So living in Green Bay Wisconsin for the whole majority of my life i'm born with the Green Bay Packers in my blood.  No matter where I live there will only be one true team that I will cheer for and thats the Green BayAaron Rodgers Green Bay Packers Packers.  Aaron Rodger's is the new Quarterback and he's starting to show why the team made what seemed to be a crazy and ludicrious decision.  My take on Brett Favre is pretty emotional but i've decided to move on and support our new Quarterback who deserves all of our respect.

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers has the biggest weight anyone has ever had put on their shoulders.  Sure Quarterbacks like Steve Young have had great career's following the legend Joe Montana but Steve Young didn't have to deal with Joe going back and forth on his decision to play.  At first I was one of the nay sayer's on the whole Farve saga I admit it.  The one thing that I didn't do was rag on Aaron Rodgers because it really wasn't his fault.  The one thing that started to shine through was his amazing attitude.  He has handled the media, the pressure, and to be blunt alot of crap with professionalism that we could all learn a thing or two about.

The neat part about Aaaron Rodgers is that he sat behind one of football's greatest quarterbacks for 3  year prior to jumping into a game.  I'm already starting to notice alot of similarities between the two.  Aaron you have been handling the challenge and I can tell that you doing your best to win us football games.  The more you play the better you will become.  We should stand united and support the new quarterback of the Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers.

It's Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood!

Hey Greg, I love Brett Favre...  always have, always will.  He is a class act and it doesnt' matter if he is in a Packers uniform or as a Jet... It's ok to like him.  I'm happy to hear that you are supporting Aaron, I can only imagine how hard it is to step into those shoes.  I wish the Packers all the best, with or without Brett.

Yeah, that Brent Frver is a class act all right. The people of Wisconsin have his back for 16 years through his addictions, his wife's breast cancer, his brother's legal problems, his dad's death, his brother-in-law's death, his sister's legal problems, etc. etc. etc. etc. and what do we get in return? Oh, i'm going across the St. Croix to play with your hated rivals. Yeah, he's class act. That's why I call him Judas. Because Judas was really classy, too. Of course Judas never cheated on his wife and sent text pix of his balls to a cheerleader. So yeah. Brent is really cool.

Revisiting this post is fun right about now... how about a reblog? Loved Brett because he brought us back... but also threw the ball to the wrong team way too much. The NFL is now Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood and should be for some time to come. It's time for the A-team to take us higher. Go Pack Go.

I was one of the few Packer fans I know who also thought it was time to go with Aaron. I saw enough of his abilities in pre season games to see what Ted Thompson saw in him. I loved Brett but his time had passed. I didn't want to see them lose this back up qb to another team... as we now know, he was more than ready for prime time. I would love nothing more than to see Aaron surpass Bart's playoff record of 10-1. Thanks... always good to hook up with another Packer fan.

shortly after the Giants loss 3 years ago... oh the agony of defeat.
