Thought Of The Day ~ "Never before has the future so rapidly become the past." -Arnold Glasow

Is it over?

I can't watch anymore!

Today's markets were all over the place. Wild swings in the market from the opening this morning over 800 down to 250 up to the end of the day @ 150 points down.

DJIA ended the day at low not seen since 2003 ~ 8451.19 -128.00 (-1.49%)

It is one of the  worst weeks in Dow Jones history. The DJIA ended up down a total of 1,666.31 (16.47%). Not pretty!

So the question remains, where will it end? The answer is who really knows. It depends on several factors. Not the least of which is the emergency meeting of the G7 nations to try and figure this mess out this weekend and whether they are able to implement the key elements of their plan.

Stay sharp!

According to a few 'professionals' we should be close to the bottom.  But aren't they just hoping thats the case?  The President makes announcements, they cut the Fed Rate, and make a deal for $700 Billion... but still no end in sight.  Very interesting times we are in today.

Bo -I have several Real Estate investments in different states and they are only Vacant Land Properties, thank God. The taxes are low enough so I don't have to worry. Try not to purchase anything big for at least one year, it has not hit bottom yet. February is suppose to be a killer.

Try to get your ducks in a row, if you have to take a lose with something sacrifise it. I lost a big Real Estate investment because one of my lenders gave me the heads up way early and saved me $60,000 dollars in payments but lost the property.

If you can, get out of the city for the weekend. I went out last Sunday when I was suppose to work and tomorrow I am headed to Utah to take some photographs.

You won't miss anything because everyone is talking about it. Take care buddy, I know how your feeling!

It's not over Bo. The Vix index is full of volitility and I am wondering what the long (banking) weekend will do to us. It will be an interesting week to come. Stay strong.
