Get Healthy Florida will offer free flu shots on a first come, first serve basis.
New this year, however, is a push to get children vaccinated against the flu. The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recommends that all children, ages 6 months to 19 years old, get a flu shot because they are at high risk for serious illness.
