I hear a lot of my fellow agents say that there is no business out there right now and we just have to sit and wait for the market to come back. Well when I check the MLS update everyday I see that 3 to 5 properties settle each day. That equates to between 90 and 150 properties a month! It may not be the same level of activity we experienced in 2004 and 2005 but it does show that there are buyers out there. In order to be successful in this new market we are continuing to do what we have been doing, expanding our marketing strategies to include ever changing internet opportunities, and taking the extra office shifts and new construction model duty times other agents are giving up. In other words while others sit back and wait for the market to come back our goal is to to be part of as many of those 90 to 150 settlements that are occuring each month as possible. When the market does come back, and it will, we intend to be in the best position possible to take advantage of it!
