So is this part of the $700B or is this some MORE money being spent?

$50 Million (hate to be so negative) is not even close to solving the problem.  $700 Billion isn't even close enough IMHO.  If they were doing like they said they were doing with that money, won't even last till election day.

An let the boondoggling begin.  This is where they start shelling out to cronies.

I see ACORN is in for $1,623,570 in PA.

I do not see much benefit to providing "counciling" to potential home buyer or current home owners. If they need to be counciled on how to own a home or how to keep a home, then maybe they shouldn't be buying a home. It seems pretty common sense to me .... save money for a down payment, save money for unexpected expensesand then live within your financial means once you have a home.

Ron.

It looks like more money, but it is not part of the bailout.

Hi Jeff

There are a lot of people having mortgage problems today. If the government is going to help then stay in there home the homeowner should be qualified for the mortgage and can make the payments.

Good luck and success
