Tate County MS Real Estate Market Report - September 2008

There were 12 residential properties sold in Tate County Mississippi for the month of September.  The average sales price was $118,244.  The average days on the market (DOM) for these sold properties was 193 days.

 Comparisons for last month / last year:

August 2008  16 sold   Avg. $104,813
Sept. 2007      9 sold   Avg. $161,805

Currently, there are 179 active listings (residential properties) in Tate County which translates into a 12.3 months supply of inventory.  Prices range from $35,000 to $1,300,000.  The median price is $167,900.    

Foreclosure listings currently make up 5.6 % of the local Tate County real estate market.

Hey Pam.  I appreicate you taking time out on my blog about being new to AR and how to do some things.  I wanted to check out your blogs.  You really are an expert of your area!  If you don't mind, can you tell me how you got the graph in this blog?  I have one that I want to post but not sure how to do it.

JD - thanks for the kind words.  Check out Jeff Turner's blog Tutorials-Adding Charts.  That is where I learned.  It is Google Docs and I had to play around with it a little, but it works great.  I also used the Google Docs to make the graphs in the Foreclosure Market Report.
