Safe on My Own
There is a Red Cross program for children in grades 3 thru 5 who are interested in learning the safety measures of what to do when they find that they are alone on their own. Some topics discussed include:
* What to say on the phone when you are home alone.
* What to do when a person comes to your door when you are home alone.
* How to be aware of stranger danger when outside your home and what to do about it.
* When and how to call 911 and what to do in an emergency.
* After successful completion of this one day course, participants will be American Red Cross Certified.
