If your a local to the city of Avon Lake or live in the vicinity you've probably heard the push for a new pool. I have read the recent postcard I received and was impressed with the information. The new pool is a great idea for/result of the growth of our great town. We have so much growth and much more development in business and and our schools that this so so over due. I have been concerned about no enclosed recreation in the city and had hoped that that would have gone back on the ballot... I would be campaigning for that. But I see that coming down the line and upcoming new YMCA in Avon should fill the gap we have. the pool will be very attractive with more space for kids and adults to relax in the water. Two 25 foot slides will keep the kids excited and the updated concession stand will keep people from trying to call in a pizza delivery to the pool.
I am not the pool committee but I favor the opportunity for the new pool and the citizens of this community should consider this.
