I have been many places and downtown Seattle has to be my favorite.  I will admit I liked it better than Dallas, Austin, or Houston.  Did I just say that?  Shush!

Ok Richard-Now, I know you're picking on me but that's OK. I have a nasty headache again, so NO, I didn't get the joke. Are you going to spill it now or make me wait til Christmas.

This is the definition's I found in my new dictionary

Terse-Smoothly elegant, polished. Devoid of superfluity(don't know what that word is either)but I'm going to look that up too. I feel like I'm back in school(Wait I am back in school)I must have missed those days. Short, brusque, concise.

So was I short &  brusque or smoothly elegant and polished? (I choose the later)Actually maybe I just want to keep you on your toes so I changed my commenting style just to throw you off. (lol)

Richard-Beautiful flowers. We have them a long side some of our highways too. I always get enjoyment at seeing them. Thanks for sharing.

Terry said Kudzu - uuggh - I hate that stuff!  Anyhow, NC has some beautiful highways as well - it is always such a bright and refreshing sight to see them after a while on a hum-drum trip on the highway!  Gorgeous pic!

Richard - thanks for clearing that up for me. I have enjoyed the roadside wildflowers but have wondered how they got there.

I've traveled across the country and I must say that the wildflowers in the south are the best!

We are seeing some of that beautification happening up here also.  It is so nice to see some color during the summer instead of the green and brown grasses.

Great looking flowers Richard, we have some along the roads here, but not nearly as many as I would like.

Richard- What beautiful flowers...they look like cosmos. I have grown them before but around here the deer come and eat everything down to the nubs! I planted some golden mums the other day in my flower box next to my door and had to sprinkle them with cayenne powder so they would leave them alone. Seems to be working so far but it has to be re-applied each time it rains! OK until I forget!

Hi Richard-I thought that is probably what you must have been talking about. I should never comment and blog when I have a nasty headache. It takes longer for me to catch on to things when the brain isn't clear. Not all was lost I learned a new word, actually 2. You know you told me I gave the best comments.
