Here's a "don't miss event for North East Florida. The 2008 NAS Jax Air Show will take place Sat & Sun, October 25th-26th, at the Naval Air Station (NAS) of Jacksonville.
There will be a static display of aircraft that can be inspected and a wide variety of military and civilian precision aerobatic aircraft & skydiving demonstrations. The world-famous Super Shockwave Jet Truck will be racing down the runway at speeds of more than 300 mph. The grand finale will be the Navy's flight demonstration team: The Blue Angels!
The air show has something for everyone-- displays, shopping at novelty, food and beverage booths, and a Kids Zone for games and activities for all ages.
Each day gates open at 9:00 AM & the show begins at 10:00 AM. Open to the public (there will be security checks; visitor will be required to pass through metal detectors), the show offers free parking and admission.
