10 Things I love About Selling Real Estate.
In my many years of selling real estate I have had to pick myself up and dust my self off more times than I care to recall. I had occasion where I got the wind knocked out of my sales, too dancing on top of the tables because I was able to meet and exceed my goals in selling real estate. When I have moments of doubt and wonder "why" I am in this industry. I go to my list.
- Versatility --- without a doubt when you are an active agent selling real estate -no way can you be bored ---- your options are limitless.
- Your working hours are dictated by you and for you. How many careers can say that?
- You learn just how much stamina you have when it comes to going the extra mile.
- People and more people, I have not met two couples or an individual that are alike.
- Everyday is different no matter how much you plan to stay on schedule. Rejoice in the fact that you are not dealing with the hum drum.
- Financially you set the bar as to how much income you want to generate.
- You are CEO to psycho-therapist to handy-person; the number of hats that we wear can be fascinating.
- In this career ---- you fire yourself, and if a broker does ask you to leave for whatever reason there are at least half dozen or so that will hire you.
- No two transactions are alike.
- The good news is that the saying "this to shall pass" is so true.
I keep reminding myself that this is one career that has more positives than negatives.
