Great job, Rania. I love what you have done with all three rooms. My favorite is what you did to the family room. Take Care, Jim
Those rooms look fantastic! Which leads me to something I've always wondered but never asked -- how exactly does staging differ from interior decorating? Could a stager conceivably design a room in a home the owners have no intention of listing?
As a new AR member and reading the followup posting from January Financial, I can tell you that staging is specifically to get a resale or new home ready for market; it depersonalizes the "home" to be a "house", thus a product. Interior Design reflects the people who live there and their interests/tastes in their living. I've been a stager off/on for over 5 years and have been trained in it. Most of the time, agents don't usually do it themselves, either because of time commitments and/or other reasons. Feel free to check me out at www.bluecottagehomeservices.com
