If you are considering BUYING A HOME IN HARFORD COUNTY, Maryland before you decide to waste your time going out "window shopping," you had better do your homework and figure out what you can and can NOT afford.  The best way to start is to meet with a LOAN OFFICER IN HARFORD COUNTY who can set up a FREE CONSULTATION to meet with you and discuss your options at a convenient time for you.  Your LOAN OFFICER IN HARFORD COUNTY should review your credit scores with you and also verify your assets, outstanding debts, and income.  Your HARFORD COUNTY LOAN OFFICER may request that you bring certain documentation with you like paystubs, last years taxes, credit reports, bank statements, etc.  From there they will help you determine how much of a loan you will be able to GET APPROVED for.

Once you are PRE-APPROVED TO BUY A HOME IN HARFORD COUNTY, the next step is to take your pre-approval letter with you to meet with your TOP PRODCUING REAL ESTATE AGENT IN HARFORD COUNTY and they can explain the rest of the process and help you find your home, prepare your contract offer, negotiate the best deal for you, and settle on your new home (AND 99% OF THE TIME THEY DO THIS FOR NO COMMISSION COST FOR YOU AS THE SELLER NORMALLY PAYS THEIR COMMISSION, NOT YOU).  Most REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN HARFORD COUNTY are going to want to know if you are pre-approved before they spend their time taking you out to look at homes that you really don't know if you can actually afford or not.  Sure you may find one who is willing to do this for you, but I doubt that they will be a TOP PRODCUING REAL ESTATE AGENT IN HARFORD COUNTY, because most of the TOP PRODCUING REAL ESTATE AGENTS IN HARFORD COUNTY simply don't have the time to take unqualified prospects out to "window shop."  It is a waste of their time, the prospective buyers time, and also the sellers time because they have to get their home ready to show to someone who may not be able to afford it.  You will also need your pre-approval to submit with the contract that your HARFORD COUNTY REAL ESTATE AGENT helps prepare for you on your behalf to show the seller that you can actually afford to buy their home.  I don't know many sellers out there who will be willing to accept an offer from someone that isn't pre approved, unless of course you have CASH!
