Yesterday, I shared some outside shots I took with my new Kodak EasyShare V705 Camera. Today, I wanted to share some interior shots I took to demonstrate how well I feel the camera performs on interior shoots. I used my own home as the example. Just so you know, I am not a decorator, so my home will not compare to all the fancy homes out there. It was clean, and organized, for a change... It should give you an idea of how the wide angle lense performs. With my old camera, I could only get sections of a room. With the V705, it captures practically the entire room. It was also a rainy, overcast day yesterday, and the only additional lighting I used was the overhead room lights. The pics have not been modified (they have not been brightened). This is the way they came from the camera. I feel the camera does great in the low lighting areas (entry hall was pretty dark yesterday). Also, what's really cool about the camera is that when you turn the camera to shoot a vertical pic, it automatically corrects the view on the screen. In other words, you don't have to rotate the pic once it's downloaded from the camera. The camera has already done it for you. That is cool and will save lots of time.
As good as this camera does, I'm considering taking my own pictures and making my own vitual tours of my listings. Right now, I am having a professional photographer shoot the home and create the virtual tour. He uploads it to Realtor.com for my for an added fee (I don't have the upgraded Realtor.com site). Cost for the virtual tour and Realtor.com upload is about $135 (not bad, but if I could do it myself and save some money, it would be great). Does anyone know of or have experience in creating your own virtual tours.? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
