Tribes - Seth Godin Seth Godin released his latest book Tribes today... But I was a lucky member of Triiibes (a closed group at this time) I had gotten an advance copy and read it... What I have learned from my participation in Triiiibes is tremendous.

I have enjoyed it and shared it with someone that will benefit from reading the book.

In honor of the release he asked the members of Triiibes to write a free ebook. That ebook, Tribes Casebook is free to all to read.

Colleen-I read your words and they are true in many ways. I have a difficulty pulling myself from the rain, I've really tried but its not even about my own stuff..its me connecting with so many of my peers.

I have learned from so many..including you..and my thirst for knowledge...sends me back here always..to me...the educational aspect alone has changed my life more than many would probably understand.

I think the Laurie Manny Challenge was awesome and I have linked back to my post.. a couple of times. I have to admit I was freaked especially commenting on an outsiders post... but now I comment and blog about others outside the rain..I just pull them in the rain.

I can't wait to go back and read the book in its entirety..

p.s. It's true..I feel like when I post somewhere else...yup..I feel like I am cheating!

Hi Colleen - oh boy, I do remember that 'challenge' of getting outside AR, and yep, I was quite intimidated to do that. But I did, and I still thank both you and Laurie for that trip. I'm actually out in the blogosphere far more than in AR these days.

Not until I read the pages you mentioned above did I get the concept of 'tribes'. I've seen 'tribes' mentioned numerous times, but just never stopped to think what that meant. Now I get it.
