New media bashing the Real Estate Market

By
Education & Training with Weicher Realtors Suburban Properties

Is anyone else finding that home buyers are in fear of purchasing a home because of the news media.  Now is a great time for buyers to purchase a home.  Rates are still good, there is a large inventory of homes for sale.  First time home buyers can be eligible for a $7500 tax credit.  There are many programs available for first time home buyers.  New London County gets stereotyped with the rest of the Nation giving the buyers market a bad wrap.

Your exactly right Sue.  It is a great time to buy a home.  The summer has been wonderful for us here in Louisville.  Best of Luck and Continued Bliss to you!

Yes, the news was reporting this morning that interest rates had the worse increase in history. Now, point wise for one day this may be true but interest rates are still at historical lows and they were even higher in some of the "boom time" then they are now. I wrote a email to to this news station and will start writing to NAR also. This has to stop.

Yes, and now we have the state of the economy...It is a great time to buy! Rates are still good, and I can get a great deal for my money. But today my Boss had a meeting to tell us, We are a strong company with plenty of assets" but then I saw him go to his office and start selling off all his company stock...is he going to pull a "Lehman" or "AIG" on us? I can't buy a house now if I might not have a job tomorrow!

Yes, I am finding that..I am also finding that many of them still think they can steal a home from an already low listing price of an REO
