How Business Is Built.

A lot of people seem to go with what others may say about whether or not to invest in stock, invest in a home, car, business etc. The truth is alot of people have gotten comfortable with what "WAS" meaning the way old things were done. In my opinion it makes it harder for those type of people to adjust to the thought of buying a home, car or starting a business during a time when everyone is screaming recession. I have been in business for 4 years going on five and I have not seen a drop in my company profits. Since the word "recession" has came about the company is experiencing an increase in opportunities from small business owners. For those of you that feel as if you or your business is down and out, you were suppose to expect this to happen. This is the saying that goes "Expect The Worst But Hope For The Best" but alot of people made there beds on the beach expecting the water to stay put!... Listen people we have no control over what happens today or tomorrow or in the future so when you build your business keep that in mind and build your foundation on solid Investments. If real estate is your life and you believe that real estate is perfect, sound and will always remain unbreakable than "to each his or her own" thats what you believe and I wont argue with you but I will state my opinion. Real Estate to me is not as solid as some people would like to think anymore and this so called crisis is a good example of what I mean. Don't misunderstand me, we own property as well but I would suggest that you don't make real estate your bread and butter. ex: If you own an established development that you consider to be your bread winner right near a factory that has just closed there doors or laid off a number of workers then I promise you that you will start to see things different trust me. I had spoke with an old friend of mine the other day that told me that what I just described is exactly what is happening to him. For those of you who has already took a hit then take my advice: Walk away from what ever you lost or whatever debt or burden your losses may have put on your back and start again! I have told that to a number of people and they all ask the same question "HOW". My business is established and sometimes I still ask "how" but look, get out and do something that helps someone else and charge a fee. That is the basics of business. Listen people dont spend time mourning your material losses get up and get out and re-establish yourself. Please dont bet the bank on real estate alone and dont allow it to be no more than 50% to 60% of your operating income. If your down at the moment then throw away the thought of not being able to do anything. Get together with business minded people and optimistic friends and brain storm.(That is your "how") Keep in mind that there may be people doing the same line of business that you may venture into but who will do it as well as you can is the key! One quick thing I would like to add is no matter where you are in business never....... let me say it again just in case you read real fast and skip the word "never".. NEVER overlook nickel and dimers: meaning smaller businesses or people than yourself. If your running a legit business that is about anything moral than you should realize that your company exist to help and support them. If you can turn up your nose to what I just said and forget those behind or below yourself then your reason for being in business is a selfish reason. There is tons of profit in the system of helping others whether it be people or businesses, and a system only fails when some sort of selfishness has played a role. Look my step father was Jordanian and I am American he would teach me about business overseas and he would tell me that there is a huge profit in the development market over in Jordan although his heart was in the auto industry and his only concern was for money, he still thought about helping others. He and my mother would tell me a strong business is built on helping the little guys. I started my business with the thought in mind that I will help people and businesses. I had no ideal what I was going to do, I just knew I wanted to help somebody or anybody and make a profit good enough to make changes and live off of. Here it is 2008 and a so called recession takes place leaving me and some of us nothing but opportunities...but enough about me.. My business is built with the "I can only progress If your business do well" model. This is the time..Right Now! to start a business or to reorganize your priorities. I dont care what kind of business you have, looking or wanting to create, do it now but dont do it just looking to get rich. Its proven that everyone just seeking fortune ultimately fall hard. Look I wont be able to make a post here all the time but when I find the chance to I will. I just want those of you to know that if times seem hard due to the so called recession then this is the time that us men and women go to work, this is what were built for! Don't give failure the chance to become a thought is what Iam telling each and everyone of you. If you had to start from the ground up like I had to... then "THIS IS HOW BUSINESS IS BUILT" don't be afraid to go out on the limb for something you trying to make work, because we all had to go out there and risk it all. Don't mention the words Failure, Give Up, Recession, or broke anymore. Business hasn't died and this isn't the end of the world and business will never die. There will always be some sort of profit to be made as long as we all are on this earth... I think I may have over extended my stay a little to long so I hope that this post may be of some use to some of you or may have inspired or sparked some sort of direction for you or your company... So until next time I'd like to thank you for lending an ear and maybe we'll do business in the future.
