Wow! How Sad

Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities
How sad.....I thought when I appealed for help that I would get it....but no, alas! I am alone in the world of Realtors that ask for advice because I don't seem to be able to get my business to a level it needs to be. Hum....I always thought that we Realtors regardless of our brokerage house were a family but alas, I am sad. In over a month not one of you offered advice or encouragement on my plea :what is a Realtor to do" i guess I need to be more determined to succeed......So, I will pick myself up and dust myself off (that seems like words for a song....wait even that has been already used)!!!! I shall get on with the business of selling and leave the business of pleas and whining to someone else today!!!! Check back with me next week ;)

Trudy~ I never saw your post either.  There are way too many posts in here and lots of them do not get noticed or get any comments at all.  I understand how you feel. It is s difficult market for most of us.  The key is finding a way around it and figuring out what it takes in your particular area.  Do you go and visit FSBO's or Expireds?

I'm with everyone else.  What post are you referring to?  I just checked your blog and all I saw was a post for your listing to be previewed.  And I saw 7 responses on the same day. I can't preview, I'm in Texas, a bit far to go.

What is the question you want help with?

Hi Trudy,

This is my first comment on active rain and I am happy to help. I have seen some very interesting posts that can provide helpful information on a variety of subjects and I believe active rain can be a great source of learning. So, what did you ask in your original post?

Keep Smiling,

Hi Trudy - I never saw your post either.  Which groups did you post to?  I noticed that this post does not list any groups.  You will get a lot more visibility for your posts if you post to the allowed 5 groups.  If you submit on a busy time of day your post only remains on the main blog page for a short amount of time, so it does not get seen by many people.

Many people are struggling in this market.  Also locally markets are different.  You would need to factor in what your local market is like and also what niche you are going after.  You need to be very clear who your targeted client is and focus your marketing toward that client.

I have found people on AR to be very helpful.  One of the keys is to be sure to comment on other blogs and they will come back and comment on yours.  Also make sure to reciprocate with anyone who comments on your blog.  In that way you are forming relationshiips and those people will be more apt to help you when you need it.

Good luck in your business.

Hi Trudy,  Obviously you must be new Active Rain is a family of real estate people who are very willing to help, share and support.  If you have not found that to be true. it is because your post just got lost in the myriads and myriads of blogs that get posted.  You are not alone with no response or comments to a post.  It happens,  but I can assure you that it is  not because people don't want to help.  Anyway now that you got our attention ..what is it you far the comments you have already one has seen your post.  Maybe  you need to re-word or re-blog your request and try again.  Don't give up on AR. I can guarantee you will never find a network of dedicated, giving, supportive family like you have on AR.  When you see how many members 115,000  right now out of that number 1671 on line now with 108 members.....well it puts everything in perspective..It is a just a numbers game when it comes to comments and getting found with your post.  Hope this helps
