I've decided to take the cruise this January. I've heard it is a really great opportunity. I've booked my RECO Update course and an Agent Safety seminar. If I have to take the course anyways why not take it while at sea? Atleast that way turning the trip into a business write off.

Has anyone else gone before? or planning on going this coming January? Great networking opportunity as well as finding time to explore. I understand this particular ship has several swimming pools, golf course, rock climbing, casino, a promenade deck. It has so much to offer can't imagine getting bored. Then of course there is the offshore excursions as well.

Anyone else planning on going?

Hi Liz,

I went on the RECO cruise two years ago with 9 other female agents from my office. It was lots of fun. Cassandra Walker was doing the sessions. Not sure if she is on the cruise you are going on. The first day at sea was really rough and they had to drain the pools. I "lost" my breakfast then had to go take the RECO update down in the bowels of the ship in a room with no windows. I had never been on a cruise before and thought if that was what it was going to be like, I wanted off, haha. Anyway it got much better. Some of us paid the $20. extra to go to the upgraded restaurants a few nights. It was so worth it for the fine dining and amazing service. The regular dining room was great also but much busier and not as much ambiance. Hope you have fun.
