Busy Allegiant Air began another route to Las Vegas (LAS) this week. Now the good folks of Bozeman (BZN), Montana can fly to Nevada twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday. In 2007 Bozeman, Montana's second busiest airport, handled 670,872 passengers, up 5.9% on 2006. So far in 2008 traffic is up a further 6.4%. Southwest Montana's Gallatin Field Airport (BZN) is located in the heart of the beautiful Gallatin Valley. BZN is the only airport serving as a year-round gateway for two Yellowstone National Park entrances. BZN also serves the recreation areas of Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin and the Bridger Bowl Ski Area as well as the business centers of Bozeman, Belgrade and Livingston and higher education at Montana State University. No matter what your aviation need may be, BZN can provide all of your southwest Montana air transportation needs.
BZN opened an additional 700 parking stalls at the airline terminal pay parking lot on October 8th,2007. The expanded parking lot comes just in time for the addition of Allegiant Air to BZN as well as the coming holidays. Over the next several weeks, the finishing touches will be completed to the new exit plaza and will be completed with the installation of all new equipment.
