A Sentiment For The Generosity on Active Rain!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with KGC Properties LLC, Tucson Property Management & Real Estate

Being on board with AR for only a short time now, I feel like a kid on the first few days of school - so much to learn and to do!   I decided to jump right in and READ AND READ AND READ - everything that I could to get my blog going in the right direction.  Everyday as I log on and read new posts,  I am amazed at how much FANTASTIC information people share!

This morning, I spent an hour and a half following the instructions on a post written  by Jason Crouch (http://activerain.com/blogsview/748476/How-to-Syndicate-Your-Blog-Meet-My-Two-Most-Important-Subscribers) to improve my blog feed.   As I was clicking back and forth between the links he provided to help someone like me - it occurred to me - "WOW" what a tremendous amount of help I received from that one post!  I can only imagine what I will learn from all the other posts - and really, in as much time as I want to!

I wanted to share this Old Proverb (author unknown) because it reflects my sentiment about the Active Rain Community and I hope one day I can provide as much useful information as everyone else!

If you want happiness for an hour - take a nap.

If you want happiness for a day - go fishing.

If you want happiness for a month - get married.

If you want happiness for a year - inherit a fortune.

If you want happiness for a lifetime - help others!

Thank you to everyone at Active Rain!

Gabrielle, I agree. I spent some time with Jason's blog also. I'm relatively new too and sometimes am overwhelmed with the amount of great information.  Happy blogging.

HI NICOLE!  Thank you for the note! I like finding proverbs that fit situations - especially ones that are a little funny too!

HI JOHN! It is overwhelming!  I found taking baby steps and going slow helps -- I just started posting and as I got comfortable doing that - I branched out a little more!  Good luck to you!

HI LORI!  Glad that you took time to read my post and enjoy it! Happy Day to you!

Gabrielle,

WELCOME to Active Rain!!  This place has more info (and people willing to share and teach) than anything I've found.  You'll thrive here, and Google will find you and send you clients.  I've added you as an associate and subscribed to your blog.  (also to feedburner.  Thanks)

Gabrielle,

I look forward to reading your posts, so a big thanks goes right back at ya.

All of the info can get to be a little overwhelming, though...
