Now is a great time to buy prices of settled back to realist numbers,before real estate dot com and prices went out of control. The blame has to be put on local officials, builder developers and of course speculators and loans officers. The taxes started rising and it became unaffordable for many. Even couples who lived here could not buy a first home they went to Palm City or Port Saint Lucie.
North Palm Beach County was an excellent place for baby boomers and retirees to get their second home or vacation condo and now it is again. Prices have fallen, so have taxes and there are some great deals if you have cash or good credit.
Considering there are approximately 15 private golf courses and 5 public from Jupiter south to West Palm Beach this is golf mecca. Also there are excellent marines with full service and luxury amenities. With miles of pristine beach front (even a place to take your dog to the beach) world class shopping and dining who would not want to live or vacation here.
