According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), existing-home sales -- including single-family, townhomes, condominiums and co-ops -- increased 5.5 percent in September compared to August, the largest gain since July 2003. The annual pace of home sales is now at its highest level in 13 months and is 1.4 percent greater than the 5.11 million-unit pace in September 2007.

Thanks for writing,

Ken
