These chocolates have been recalled as of last week, but may already be in some candy being handed out.

Please get this information out to everyone you know with kids who will be going out for Halloween!

With Halloween fast approaching comes a warning to parents and kids regarding Sherwood Brands Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate Coins imported from China.

The candy was sold primarily by Costco in bulk packages and may also have been sold as individual pieces at various dollar stores.

The chocolate contains melamine which is the same chemical responsible for killing several babies in China, and sickening thousands more so do not buy them!!!

This is very scary. Thursday my husband and I were in Walmart strolling the baby section. We picked up a box of bottle liners to find them clearly marked "Made in China". We both looked at each other and decided immediately, those would never come in our house.

Well I threw away a bag of those coins that were in the back of my fridge. A treat my kids received after a visit to Cracker Barrell. I can not find on the bag where they were made, but better safe than sorry, they hit the trash can. My 8 year old daughter finished her bag already! It has been several weeks ago so I'm sure she is ok.
