City leaf collection program starts october 27th

The City of Cuyahoga Falls announces that fliers for this year's leaf program will be delivered to all residences soon.  The program offically kicks off on Oct. 27. Residents who would like to know their leaf pick up times can visit the Web site at www.cityofcf.com and click on the leaf program link. Residents can input theit address  and learn when the leaves will be picked up in their area. for more information, call the City of Cuyahoga Falls Service Director's office at 330-971-8240.

 

  

Falls Trick or Treat is on Oct. 25

Trick-or-treat hours for the city will be Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. Trick-or-treat will follow the annual Halloween Party taking place from 2 to 4 p.m. at it's new location-Falls River Square. Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don L. Robart said. "children should take a parent with them, be able to see through their masks, be careful crossing streets, dress in light colored clothing and never go into the house of a stranger". It would also be  wise for parents to have children wear reflective wear. All participating homes should have their lights on. be safe. The annual Halloween party is where children can come show off their costumes and get treats. Everyone is welcome to join in this free event. There will be a parade of costumes with prizes for children ages birth to 10 years old and a best carved pumpkin contest for all ages. Admission to both contests are free. An activity stamp may be purchased for $5 and includes a special halloween treat bag and unlimited admission to the petting zoo, hayrides, and pony rides. Parents accompanying any children are free. Refreshments will be avaialbe for purchase.
