Ok, you would thinkthat by being a thirty something that I would have been doing this blogging thing a lot sooner but here I am typing up my first blog.
Not sure what to write so here goes nothing....
I have been a Realtor now for a little over 3 years. I have had some doozies already in the business and some that were shining moments of glory. I really enjoy seeing the look on a clients face when they come to the realization that they just bought their first home or their home sold and they can now upgrade or move on to bigger and better things, or in some cases, downsize! I love the challenges that real estate brings. Some a bit more stressful than anticipated but someone once told me the body does not know the difference between nervousness or excitement, that is adrenalin for ya. I go with it!! I have also built some great relationships with clients that have far outlasted the transaction. But times are changed from when I first started 3 years ago to now...
I guess all this economic crisis stuff and the political stuff just blows past me as i try my best to not let it get me down or in most cases ignore it because I am so tired of hearing it, seeing it, feeling it, and in some instances experiencing it. I haven't been in the business long enough to really know the real highs of real estate nor the real lows but its seeming that some may be headed there. I feel that I have been fortunate in my so far short career to have achieved what I have so far by closing several transactions each year and maintaining a steady business. Not to toot my own horn but "toot toot," I also achieved top sales agent in my office in my first full year of business. Not too bad for a newbie huh?
Despite what is going on out there in the world, I just have to keep looking forward and move on.Its like the fish says in my kids' Finding Nemo video, "Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming..."
May all of us have success and happiness even in these hardest of economic days!
Regards,
Karen
