Question about Blogging and Networking Sites

With all of Social Networking and blogging sites out there I am fiding myself spending more and more time on the computer and less time in front of the public face to face. I know there is no substitute for live interaction when it comes to any kind of sales.

 Including Active Rain, what sites do you find most helpful and why?

How should I share my blogs with my clients?

Should I invite them to go onto actice rain or should I copy and paste my blogs and e-mail them?

Or should I do it another way?
