For buyers in Tecumseh and throughout Lenawee County its a time to get out there and get some offers on the table. Knowing that the hottest selling season is over, sellers can become a little anxious. An offer that they may have turned down in June, might be more tempting in Oct.

Sellers, for you this is a time to review your pricing, take advantage of the fact that buyers are still out there looking for value and be the one to offer it. We don't know what the market will be like a year from now, up or down again. You have to price for where it is today.

I love the image you created that is very cleaver and cute. Great blog. The other key point I point out is regardless of price where will you be if the interest rate goes up which is more probable

Great advice for buyers. That's great advice for any year to take advantage of the slower part of the year. It's even more important right now here in Denver, Colorado and I'm sure other parts of the country, because prices have come down so much and I get the feeling we're approaching the bottom of the decline. It won't be until we've hit bottom and we're climbing out that everyone will realize it and be sorry they didn't take advantage of it.

Beth - Good advice.  I agree with you on your points.  I have had some sellers take their homes off the market because they didn't think they would sell this late in the year.  Homes do sell and they sell if they are priced right.

Mark~ Our market is already showing a slight upturn, I think the people who buy right now will have the same kind of bragging rights as those who just happened to be lucky enough to buy microsoft in the early days.  Not because they were brilliant, but because they hit the right time.

Jon~ Not only do they sell, but the buyers that are out in the winter season are serious and ready to go as a rule.  Who wants to plow though the snow if they aren't really looking to buy.  Its all fun and games in the Summer.
