Hope is Not a Strategy

Are you spending your days hoping for business? We all know the market has shifted. The days on the market for listings is longer than it has been for the last few years. Inventory has increased to the point that buyers have many choices and can't make a decision or keep making low ball offers. Serious real estate professionals need to get back to basics! Do you have a well defined written business plan? Are your goals measurable? Are you in an accountable relationship to keep you on track? Perhaps it is time to talk to a coach. A coach helps you determine exactly how you are going to get to the next level in your business. A coach assists you in determining what daily and weekly activities are going to bring in the business. Many times we know where we want to go in our business and are having trouble with the focus or priorities that will get us those results. Think of a coach like you would a personal trainer at a fitness club, who pushes you to do more. Top athletes like Tiger Woods have several coaches to keep him at the top of his game. If you are looking to improve your "game" and get a winning strategy, talk to a coach.

Hi Tina,

Love the caption!  While it's important to be hopeful - sitting around hoping is definitely not a solution to a shifting market.  We totally agree with you.  Great post and thanks for sharing!

Consistency, consistency, consistency.  What you do today determines the results you'll have tomorrow.  This business, especially this market, requires planning and daily money-making activities.  I totally agree with you Tina.  Having a good support team or coach in place to for accountability and motivation can really make a positive difference.
