It is that time of year again! The annual show down between SEC East rivals Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators is this weekend. The game is always played in Jacksonville, FL on last weekend of October. UGA students, alumni, and fans start rolling into The Golden Isles of Georgia on Wednesday. The buses to Jacksonville start rolling out on Saturday at 10am. The game is being played at 3:30pm on CBS this year. This is always a big game, but this year has more than just bragging rights on the line. The winning of the game will have in inside track to winning the SEC East and possibly playing for the National Title!
Not all fans head to Jacksonville for the game. Most bars and restaurants on Saint Simons Island and in Brunswick have specials and viewing parties for the game. Georgia/Florida week brings a big economic boom to The Golden Isles each year. This week is as big as July 4th! So put on your red and black, or orange and blue and join us in The Golden Isles for the Georgia/Florida game!
