I've been working a short sale with ountrywide since Feb. 2008. I finally received an approval... That sounds great get it closed. No wrong!!! These smart people didn't put my commission on the approval... Okay, So I have contacted them numerous times to get this corrected. Now it has to go through review again... Has anyone every had this happen before? I asked could they give me a time frame because we were wanting to close by the end of the month...

Michelle,

I've never had this happen before and I've dealt with Countrywide a lot.  In my experiences working with mitigators, they'll always tell you at the outset if the commission amount is okay.  If it's not, then they'll normally tell you by how much you're going to have to drop the amount.  Naturally, because the commission wasn't included or considered in the original payoff amount, now the short sale offer has to be reviewed again.  Hopefully, Countrywide won't come back to you with a rejection or ask you to lower your commission.
