Blogs for dogs.... whoda thunk it?!

I had to write about a cool website for your dogs. Its called www.Dogster.com and was created for people that love of dogs. Now once your pooch joins the site he or she can write blogs about their favorite hangouts like restaurants that allow dogs. Some dogs write about their favorite vet or groomer or post their diary to share with other dogs. My dogs are partial to the Town Lake jogging trail and Freddie's Place in south Austin. You can meet with other dog parents for play-dates. There are Groups just like many of the dating or networking sites. So if you are into Standard Schnauzers, you can make friends with more dogs and dog parents of that particular breed. You can post photos or yourself (remember this is all written from the dog's perspective) so the photos are of the dogs! Your dog can "corral" other dogs, which basically means their photo is saved on your home page as a friend. You can add your other four-legged family members to your home page as well. You can also give bones or treats to other dogs that you like. On occasion they have costume contests that everyone may participate in. It is a lot of good clean fun for your pooches on the bad weather days they don't want to run around outside.

Happy Tails!!

Hey, Betina. I read your blog, clicked on the lnik and checked them out, and then came back to finish your blog. That's when I spit grapefruit juice all over my desk and keyboard while I was reading

That was good! That was real good! However, I shall have to send you a cleaning bill, and if the keyboard gets all sticky, I shall have to send you a bill for a new keyboard, too. LOL

Russel sent me over here, so whatever I say you can blame on him.

When we sold our home back in 2001, the buyer had two very, very, very large dogs. Supposedly they were dobermans, but these were the largest dobermans I had ever seen. He specifically wants our house because he needed a "new yard for his dogs." We had a hillside home with a pool/spa on two acres of land with a view of the Mexico mountains, everything that the buyer wanted. He still lives there, although he has fenced the two acres to keep his dogs from chasing the coyotes and foxes. LOL

Gary,

The key is finding what motivates them, usually food. Then they will do whatever you want.

Gail,

I have not found a site for horses, but it could happen!

Lisa,

The green stuff is real grass (its probably greener because its over the septic field). By the way who is the cutie-pie in your photo?!?

Tinker,

Bruno is a doll and should be quite the heart-breaker on Dogster.com!!

Russell,

A dog Mommy has got to think outside the box to market to other like minded people. If a new keyboard is in order just let me know and I am sure we can work something out. Hey wait a minute couldn't you get your kitty to clean it up for you? They love washing things! Thanks for sending your friend over!

Jim,

It is a good thing the new owner fenced them in to save the poor coyotes & foxes! Those dogs sound huge!!

Laura,

I just love the photo! You lab is too cool for school with those shades!
