I think we've all learned the hard way, how easy it is to lose a post. I know most people used secondary programs to write their posts first, then upload the completed post to AR. Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out how to do this =(

Just don't forget to go back and click "Public" in the Visibility tab when you're all done!

We've all done that!!  Now, I use Windows Live Writer (it's a free download) to format my posts.  I copy the HTML over to AR, drop in the photos and I'm done.

Lisa - I will have to try that out.  Is that better than using something like Word?

Heather, it's much better than using Word because it formats in HTML - word can be a little wonky when you copy and paste.  Try it out - if you need help, feel free to give a yell :)

Thanks, Lisa.  I had always heard not to copy and paste Word documents for posts.  It's good to know there's something else out there.

Hi Heather, I learned this the hard way, when I first started here on Active Rain.  Today I do it on every post. Thanks for the reminder - GREAT TIP and TIMESAVER!
