Well it's official. The gnats are out. I received two phone calls from the village of campton or the big government of Campton or the Advertisers for Campton even though I'm on the do not call list. Although the do not call list doesn't apply to political campaigns it should for oligarchies, dictatorships, and campaigns with known liars. As a result, I get BS calls from people who want to run our lives and think that they can BETTER THAN WE CAN!
AS ALWAYS, protecting the names of the innocent, I want to share with you one of the myriad of e-mails that I received from one of our concerned citizens within the last few hours:
Hi Larry. I've been reading your blogs - the ones I can access anyway and one caught my eye. We moved here in January, into this mess of a village. Am I reading it right that 500 people could get it on the ballot to incorporate? Then very few people voted - probably those who signed the petition - and it passed? To get it on the ballot to dissolve they had to have thousands of signatures? Is this correct? I figured you would know - you sound like you are very much on top of this.
Of course, me being nice to this person, I give a very forthright and direct answer and say a simple response with YES, THIS IS SUCH A TRAVESTY. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ELECTION. Of course I refrained from giving my personal FEELINGS on the issue because I would go off on how some people have single handedly sought to destroy a community. The response I get was:
Wow! I'm really shocked and disappointed. I'm really hoping with all the publicity about the name change earlier this week that it will open the eyes of more people and tumble this house of cards. I came here from the ___________ - I've never dealt with anything like this before - and I came from a very rural small town.
This person, new to our community, but not so new that they can't vote, gets it! They understand the smoke and mirrors that are being USED here.
Patsy went against her campaign promises and applied for the name of Campton to the mailing address for our community. Needless to say, her ill fated timing of her application has blown up. She has shown that she wants to run Campton her way despite promises to the contrary. Unfortunately, just another politician with a shovel, pushing things for a personal agenda. So....what's the good news? The good news is that I have spoken to so many people who voted against having this on the ballot WHO NOW UNDERSTAND what they voted for and have said that they are so done with Campton. They see the lies.
For one second, let's humor Patsy. Let's say that Patsy can actually deliver on the rest of her promises. There will be a new administration one day. That adminstration will...and I mean WILL FORGET Patsy's promises and our government is here to stay, taxation and all.
If you think about it. In the history of the world, there has never been incorporation in Campton. NEVER!!!!! But with 1 rogue leader, disinformation and deep pockets, and a few lemmings following the leader to the cliff, the government had created a class of rulers and servants. Servant leadership is a phrase that the ruling class can't cognate. If they did, they would serve our community and let people go back to the peaceful way of life that our township used to have. I moved to a township to not live in an incorporated hell.
I've taken my share of beatings since I'm not a member of their clique. But the abuse that is doled out to those who fail to get re-educated is much greater for those superstars who choose to stand up and do the right thing. It's my understanding that the Village People cancelled their debate. Let's just pick on those who don't agree, but we can't stand in front of the class and have a debate. Isn't that just so 11th grade?
Moving along, I know 2 national relocation companies that haven't approved Campton as an acceptable relo area. I know people who have listed their homes to move out of Campton Township for no other reason than they HATE the leaders and the BS that they bring to this community. They'll move within a few miles and send their kids to the same school district, but they'll be outside of Campton Hell. They know that they're going to take a beating selling their house here, but they don't care. They want out...and they want out now!

THEN, I ASK YOU...PASS THIS POST ON TO YOUR NEIGHBORS, YOUR FRIENDS AND ALL WHO VOTE. WE'VE TURNED THE TIDE OF MANY. The DISSOLVE CAMPTON people don't have the deep pockets of the big government rulers, so please take the extra effort one day and VOTE YES TO DISSOLVE CAMPTON HILLS!
THIS CAN GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS A TIME THAT THE PEOPLE RE-CAPTURED THEIR COMMUNITY AWAY FROM THE GOVERNMENT. LET'S MAKE IT A HISTORICAL DAY!
