I just want to take a second to give you my thoughts on the election, the coming years and what I see in the future.
We can all admit that this election is a little different than in the past. There's definitely a lot riding on this election and the two candidates seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum. What makes it harder is that it's going to be extremely close, meaning that whoever wins, about 50% of the country is going to be extremely upset.
It's time like these that we need to take a step back and look at who this country belongs to.
It belongs to US. You and me. Regardless of who's in the position of President, this is still OUR country.
With each administration, there are things we all like and dislike. But regardless of who's candidate gets elected, we cannot let that affect the way we live our lives.
Our country is still the ONLY country that people all over the world are trying to get into. We are a country where ANYTHING is possible and that's not because of who the President is.
It's because we make it the greatest country in the world. We go out every day and work hard. Most of us try to live life the right way and do the right thing. We love our families. WE are the country. Our country is not who is at the helm. It's YOU AND I.
Regardless of who wins the election, let's remember that we are in charge of our lives. If everyone just does their best to live their lives the right way and continues to strive to make a difference and better ourselves, we'll be fine.
