Pets that is.

The one under all of that is my favorite.  Dana Jo.  Sadie then Jed, Rascal and Mittens at the top. All are foundlings, except for Dana Jo.

If you need stress releif, get a pet.  We went a bit over board.

In the evening after a stressful day, all I have to do is say "lets go outside".  Between them and the door is not a safe place to be.  Then the stick throwing starts, till my arm falls off.  After that is over I can't remember what all of the stress was about.

One dog, a terrier mix.  Her name's Ellie.

One cat. Lives outdoors and is a mouser and birder... He won't sit for a photo.

Here goes the little one with the big one. :-) Puppy is a humane society rescue. Still looking for thepics of our first puppy, also a rescue. Unfortunately where I am, can't have more than two dogs per city ordinance, or I would have a dozen.

Bruce, can you bottle all of that energy?  They are cute.  Here's a little pet I found on the screened porch yesterday.  Never did get a name, and I set him free in the backyard.

Hey, a pet is a pet.  Did it ask you to quote your car insurance?

I've had many, many pets of all kinds over the years -- dogs, cats, cows, horses, snakes, spiders, ants, owls, rats, mice, guinea pigs, fish, probably some more. Some were foundlings, some were not. My dogs and cats have always been Animal Shelter adoptions.

All of them were adopted.  The cat on the top my wife found as a kitten, all wet, sick and stuck in a shrub in our yard.  I told her that it might be a little kid's kitten and we should ask around to see if anyone lost it.  So she went out on our front porch (with no one around) and asked "did any one lose a kitten"?  Since no one answered she figured she could keep it.

She just didn't want to give it up.
