Great photos, Pat! A couple hundred years ago, I was born in Portsmouth. Left when I was two, and never been back...Are you anywhere near Portsmouth?

This is the map.

I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Denver, or 20 minutes from Colorado Springs. We're in the mountains at about 8400 ft elevation, and have about 7000 souls within the city limits. It's so beautiful here at the foot of Pikes Peak...(starting to sound like a Localism post!) Absolutely love it here! All 4 seasons, but mild winters as a rule - a big snow for us is 18-24".

That's fine by me!

Hi Debi-I love it in Va. in the winter because basically there isn't winter here. More ice than snow. Only got a trace of snow in the past 3 winters. Get's chilly as low as 0, sometimes but other than that it's great. The summers are too hot for me with those wonderful flashes. I had a friend who lived in Colorado Springs years ago. She loved it. Maybe I missed something here but when I clicked on your map it was the same as the one I sent you. :-)))lol  See ya again.

Pat -

Alrighty then! Try this one!

Hot here in the mountains in summer is about mid eighties -super low humidity- and always a nice breeze! (jealous yet?) LOL
