Gratitude Moments

By
Real Estate Agent with Cherimie Crane & Associates

It is Saturday morning here in Beautiful, Beaufort SC. I finished my morning run, fed my best friend, and now it is time to do one of my favorite tasks.

Time to write my Thank You cards.

I must say, there is something about starting a morning expressing to others how they brightened your day. It is good for the soul..

Here are a few examples of this past weeks "gratitude moments".

*I drop by the Post Office to mail a card to my mom. The stamp machine was broken and the line too long. Mrs. Weatherford was walking in and noticed my disappointment. She handed me a stamp. How sweet! I offered to pay, she refused.

*At one of my closings, my client leaned over and said.."You have changed my mind about Realtors."... that made me feel so good, as I knew his tainted opinion.

*I was preparing for a dinner party and OOPS, I forgot the Louisiana Hot Sauce. This was tragic because I was making GUMBO....My neighbor gave me a whole bottle....

The beauty of my "gratitude moments" is that I could go on and on. How wonderful is that?

In a world swarmed by negativity, I am so fortunate that I simply don't have enough Thank You Cards.

IF you are feeling down, take a moment to write down all you "gratitude moments". You have my word that you will feel better and once mailed, that feeling will be spread to many.

You have to be thankful for all the gratitude moments. It is proof that people are basically good. Keep spreading the love.

Hugs,

Betina

I know the feeling the best way to make me feel good is to thank someone else for something they have done for me.  All too often we don't do this enough thanks for reminding us of this feeling.

Great post. In such a crazy market, it is often difficult to remember to be thankful. I am thankful for so many things. I have never been as good as I should be at writing thank you cards. I am going to write some today. "thank you" for the inspiration.
