Hollywood Style Politics

For 2 years we have been inundated with political one upsmanship and there are still no real indications of what ANY of the candidates for any and all positions will actually do to represent their constituents.  All kinds of talk about change..big surprise!  Every newly elected official brings change.  Change what? Change when?  I don't like anything I hear and I'm frankly pretty worried.  It's so easy to blame someone else.  It takes a long time to create the kind of financial problems this country, state, city and local governments find themselves in and there's plenty of blame to go around.  All these folks have done is sling mud at each other and hide their records from the citizens that they SERVE.  Have we become so shallow that we can make decisions based on media bias and no substance rhetoric?  Check out what is expected (job descriptions) of the people who are elected and what is actually done.  These guys/gals have spent 2 years campaigning.  When did they have time to do the job they were elected to do.  No wonder many of them can't list the "things" they have accomplished.  When will We The People tire of this nonsense and start demanding that we receive the representation we pay for.  This whole process should really be a wake up call.  Tax payer dollars used in the most deceitful ways.  Our forefathers must be turning in their graves!  How do you feel about this and especially the media circus driving it?
