Rockville, MD Realtor needed for artsy unusual home

By
Home Stager with Capital Style Home Staging

I'm a stager and have the most incredible client!  I'm consulting/staging with her as she clears out her house and prepares for sale.  The house is a 3/1, but has tremendous square footage, a crazy floorplan, an amazing two-storey artist studio with artificial sunlight fixtures.  New bamboo floors are going in, the homeowner's putting new tile in the upstairs bath, and granite has been ordered for the kitchen.  But the floorplan....oooh, baby!  It's more like a fairy house in the woods, with goofy "L" shaped dormer closets, a powder room and basement you get to through the kitchen pantry, and a basement that's a warren of finished tiny rooms with 5'10" of headroom.  I know because I'm 5'10.

My idea is to stage this place with maximum creativity, drama and flair with the idea that it will appeal to the arts community.  I would love to find a super creative, sympathetic Realtor who can take this house and make it, and the marketing plan, sing to the right community.  These folks need to get sold quickly!

Hey Jaynee,

Did you find somebody?

I don't know how one would market differently than another house in order to hit the creative type. I would recommend starting with a collage for the main photo and at least 20 large super wide angle photos of the inside and focus a few shots on the details. Maybe hire a photographer for some artsy shots.

Best of luck, email me the MLS #, I'd love to see it.

Also make sure you read my kodak v570 Camera blog and I can send you to a link with a 2 hour photo class!
