When I go to the blog dashboard and browse through the various blogs looking for something of interest to read, I end up wading through various posts that are obviously intended for local "consumption." When I do my localism posts I mark them "For Consumers: and I do not check "For Real Estate Professionals." Am I missing something?

Different strokes for different folks. Various people are looking to get their posts read by as many eyes as possible (in an effort to get points!) and they aren't necessarily the most discerning IE where their post ends up....

It does get irritating when you have to "sift" through all of the stuff directed toward consumers to find the kind of blog you're looking for!

Then again.. there are a lot of localism posts that I find very interesting so I don't mind a great post on an area... Posts by Laurie Manny and Jeff Dowler come to mind

Maybe some are new comers & it takes a while to discover all this site has to offer. Even after being here a while, I am still finding new places the site has to offer. Sometimes they may have a post that they just aren't sure where to put it.
