trying to figure out why my name doesn't show in any searchs within activerain. can anyone help?

Doug, I'm not sure, but it might be because there are only 2 posts in your blog. You may be posting to Group instead of to Your Blog.

First, you need to finish your profile - you still have the Active Rain default text at the bottom. Read some blog posts about writing informative posts and start writing blog posts and tagging appropriately. If you get stuck, just search for the answer within Active Rain and I am sure you will find it. Also, start commenting on other members blog posts - that will drive more traffic to you and your blog. You will be drinking the Google juice before you know it!
