Back to Real Estate! Its About Time!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams

The last month has been very interesting on Active Rain.  I come here to read about Real Estate, and things related.  It seems that lately there have been a lot of nasty, petty, posts and comments due to the election.  I can often find plenty of interesting posts at any time of the day to get my Real Estate fix.  Lately I found myself skipping a lot of inflammatory posts to find the good ones.

You are all professionals, and I enjoy your input and expertise.  Regardless of how you feel or how I feel, I am hoping to hear your valuable information and comments once again!

Nice Post. I agree, I come here to read about Real Estate, not politics... Thanks Matthew for pointing out what this is supposed to be about. I will say that I have had some really great suggestions on here to help me build my business. I am trying to diversify my business by expanding my referral base to out of state, this site seems to make it a lot easier for me. Thanks again.

Matthew-  Well said.  I was amazed at the number of extreme, political posts that appeared on AR, during these past few months.  To me, they were counter-productive to expanding one's business.

Awwww Matthew, now all we have to talk about is business. LOL. Works for me. Now, how would you like to buy a few yard signs? (slightly used)

Chris,

Thanks for the post.  You are in the right place to expand your referral base.  You know who to talk to in Portland, OR!

Marilyn,

That is exactly my thought.  Counter-productive is the least of it.  If I am buying or selling I would think twice about a Realtor if I saw some of these posts.

Fred,

Thanks, but I'll pass on the signs.  Back to work!

Agreed! I've been amazed at some of the rude and nasty comments.
