Often as Realtors we have clients who are renovation or who own rentals. Some of us specialize in property management (not me!). All of these activities often require building supplies. The costs can add up fast at a time when we are ALL trying to save a dollar wherever we can!
Today I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity's, ReStore. This is a store which sells all of the donated supplies that Habitat does not need on a build to raise money for things they do need.
In this store you really will find the kitchen sink. You will also find some great looking glass tile (lots), carpet, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, doors, paint and lots more. Most of the goods are priced well below the national chains.
You may be thinking, "but I need a matched set" or "I need a large quantity." This is what surprised me. They have it! Not in everything, but surely a good selection of very nice choices. There is also a good selection of little things like grout, wood trim, sealers, cleaners and bug spray.
I visited the store located in Apopka at: 2001 N. Rock Springs Rd. This store also has an entire section of used furniture, clothing and décor items. Unlike many stores they have office furniture as well. What I heard repeatedly is that people don't know they are there. So please spread the word! By buying here, you or your clients will save money while helping a good cause!
