Yellowbook, a national leader in the local search industry, announced today a content distribution agreement with YouTubeTM, the world's most popular online video community allowing millions of people to discover, watch and share originally created videos, to showcase yellowbook.com's video advertisers across YouTube's network. Yellowbook is the first publisher in its category to partner with YouTube to distribute its customers' video ads.

 The agreement supports Yellowbook's commitment to give users unprecedented access to local businesses through sound, sight and motion while expanding the reach and visibility of local businesses in the online world.

I paid Yellowbook.com for a year and had 3 people come to my website.  They claimed to have data that drove hundreds of people to my website.  I could never prove them right.  Cancelled.

Steve, thank you for your comment.  The Yellowbook.com directory lists your phone number on the results page, so people could have called you without clicking on your website.  We now offer "mirrored" sites and/or metered phone numbers to provide statistical proof of value, not sure if those options were available when you advertised.  It is also no secret that we have grown considerably over the past few years in terms of traffic to our site.

Regardless, I believe our partnership with Google and the SEM we offer is more beneficial to a Realtor than an ad in our directory anyway.  This article is simply demonstrating the many ways Yellowbook.com is differentiating and expanding their reach on the web.
